Our Values and Principles

Bridging The Gap Collective is dedicated to providing support to individuals in Chicago suffering from mental health disorders in impoverished areas by working with other non profits and community leaders.  Also giving an extra layer to student clinicians in strengthening their craft, gaining mentorship, cultural competency and much more.

 Our Core Principles

Discernment, knowledge, morality, and collectivism are the core principles this organization will use in addressing the needs of the communities, student clinicians, as well as those who support this collective in bringing upon mental awareness and inner peace for all.

Our Values

Awareness

of ourselves, our clients, and the communities we serve with an understanding of an ever-changing world.

Compassion

by utilizing empathy in doing the right thing for our clients, communities, and interns.

Leadership

by nurturing future leaders of the mental health field, who in turn will assist individuals and communities with clinical tools in leading their own lives into various forms of enlightenment and inner peace.

Humility

by continuously checking in with ourselves as a constant reminder of the reason we are collectively here in obtaining the greater purpose beyond our individual selves. Furthermore, striving in learning the cultural competencies of the communities we serve on a consistent basis.

Grace

by selflessly wanting to support, train, and mentor the next generation of leaders in cognitive healing while bridging the gap on quality mental health services for all.

Service

by utilizing a person-centered strength-based holistic approach in not only working with various clients and communities but also our interns.
